    They Couldn't Be Luckier!

It's the start of a new year- Hip hip Horray! Hip hip horray!!

And, the members of my Twelve Months Of Sewing Club couldn't be luckier!

You see, they are in for a real treat in 2007.

I have so many surprises for them this year they will be amazed.

So, since it's the start of a brand new year and we are getting ready to sing "Auld Lang Syne" I decided that the first featured "instant e-pattern" for our Twelve Months Of Sewing Club members for 2007 should be LW129LWOEP "Baptist and His Smile."

Baptist and His Smile is the wildest primitive you’d ever want to meet. He’s a dare devil and just a little bit of a wild child. He has flaming red hair that sticks straight out of the sides and top of his head. “Baptist” has a cloth body, embroidered face with long smile, shirt, flannel jacket with buttons, and cuffed pantaloons with pockets. He has a fringed scarf tied around his neck. His cloth body and clothes are coffee-stained throughout.

Baptist and his sister LW130LWOEP "Jael Loves Her Smile" are a wonderful pair of siblings. They just love their smiles and each other. And, they do not like to be separated.

If you are a subscriber (i.e. member) to our Twelve Months Of Sewing Club and you buy the "Featured Instant Download E-Pattern" you will get a FREE Linda Walsh Originals E-Pattern* (*of equal or lessor value) emailed to you.

So, if you buy Baptist you can choose his sister Jael's e-pattern for FREE. What a great start to the New Year. A smiling pair of brother and sister primitive doll patterns. And, best of all for them, they don't have to be separated.

If you want to know what to do to become a subscriber and, therefore, member of our Twelve Months Of Sewing Club just go to our Twelve Months Of Sewing Club Blog. It tells you everything you need to know to join.

We hope you decide to join and hope you enjoy making Baptist and wish everyone a happy, healthy New Year.

    Come on now, sing along......
    Auld Lang Syne

    Should auld acquaintance be forgot
    and never brought to mind?
    Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear, f
    or auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
    for auld lang syne.

    Should auld acquaintance be forgot
    and never brought to mind?
    Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
And here's a hand, my trusty friend
    And gie's a hand o' thine
    We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet
    For auld lang syne

Have a happy, healthy New Year.

    Even I Don't Believe This!

I know that you're probably shaking your heads right now thinking "The Blogging Queen" has really gone overboard this time!"

In fact, she's down right "nuts", "crazy", "has lost it", and "has no life outside of the computer and blogging."

Well, some of that is true and some of it isn't.

I "DO" spend a lot of time on the computer. Sometimes more than I'd like.

I know what you're going to say to that! "Linda, you wouldn't do it if you didn't really like it. Now would you?"

Well! No, I wouldn't. I love what I'm doing right now.

    But, yet another new blog?

    Well, "YES!"

But, I have a really good reason for this one and I hope you'll agree.

    Okay, let's hear the reason.

Well, for awhile now I have been wanting to supplement my "I Love Crafts and Craft Blogs" blog with FREE Craft Articles written by some of the wonderful crafters on the web. The problem was finding the time to do so.

There are just so many fine, talented, and wonderful small business crafters on the web. And, you know that I don't think we get the recognition that we all deserve on the web. So, I try to give as much FREE exposure to all the small business crafters that I can, when I can.

One of those ways was to start posting FREE articles written by other crafters in an attempt to gain even more exposure for their websites and blogs.

So, I thought that while I would be posting the FREE Craft Articles on my "I Love Crafts and Craft Blogs" blog anyway that I'd also set-up a new blog just to house those posts. That way the readers of the "I Love Crafts and Craft Blogs" blog who want to search through all the FREE Craft Articles can just click on the "The Best FREE Craft Articles" link and come over to this blog to view them.

So, my "The Best FREE Craft Articles" blog will be a supplement to my "I Love Crafts and Crafts Blogs" blog and will be filled with the best FREE articles written by crafters that I can find.

So, another new blog for the "Blogging Queen!" But, I had a really good reason. Didn't I?

I'd like to say that this will be the last new blog for me for awhile but I'm not sure I could keep that promise. I'm going to try as there are so many ideas floating around in my head right now for my Linda Walsh Originals and Linda Walsh Originals Dolls websites. My websites and dolls are beginning to feel like orphans compared to my blogs.

So, given that this will be my last blog for awhile ( Yeah! Sure!) I might as well tell you what it's about.

It's about "The Best FREE Craft Articles" I can find and I'm going to be on an active hunt for them. The subject matter for the article just has to be within the "crafts" parameters I have already set for my "I Love Crafts and Craft Blogs" blog. In other words, anything that's on the list below:

Since the topic "craft" encompasses such a vast terrain I thought I'd start by listing exactly what I mean. If you have written a FREE article on any of the following areas then we'd love to post it on our "I Love Crafts and Craft Blogs" blog: Accessories, Altered Art, Americana, Angels, Animal Crafts, Antiques, Apparel Making, Applique, Aromatherapy, Art, Baby Crafts, Baskets, Bath & Body Products (Homemade), Beadwork, Bears, Birds & Birdhouses, Bridal Crafts, Broom Crafts, Bunnies, Button Making, Cake Decorating, Calligraphy, Candles & Candle Making, Canvas Crafts, Card Making, Cartoons, Carving, Ceramics, Children's Crafts, Christmas Crafts, Clay, Clock Making, Cloth Crafts, Collectibles, Colonial Crafts, Country Crafts, Crazy Quilting, Crewel, Crocheting, Cross-Stitch, Curtain Making, Decorative Painting, Deco Art, Decoupage, Digital Art, Dolls & Doll Making, Dried Florals, Drawing/Sketching, Egg Art, Embroidery, Enameling, Etchings, Extreme Primitives, Fabrics, Fiber Arts, Floral Crafts, Folkart, Food Crafts, FREE crafts, Furniture Making, Gardens & Garden Crafts, General Arts & Crafts, Gift Making, Glass Art, Graphics, Handcrafted Items, Hats, Hobbies, Home Decor, Holiday Crafts, Homemade Lotions, Illustrations, Jewelry, Knitting, Lace & Lace Making, Lamp Making, Latch Hook, Leather Crafts, Macrame, Magnets, Mats, Metal Crafts, Miniatures, Mosaics, Musical Crafts, Muslin Crafts, Nautical Crafts, Native American Crafts, Needlepoint, Oragami, Painting, Paper Crafts, Papier Mache, Patterns & Pattern Creation, Patriotic Crafts, Pen & Ink Crafts, Penny Rugs, Pet Crafts, Pet Edibles (Homemade), Photography, Picture Frames, Pillows, Pins, Plastic Crafts, Pocketbooks, Poetry, Polymer Clay, Porcelain Crafts, Portraits, Potpourri, Pottery, Primitives, Printables, Prints, Punch Needle, Punched Tin, Quilling, Quilts & Quilting, Raffia, Ribbon Crafts, Rubber Stamping, Rug Hooking & Making, Rusty Tin Crafts, Santa's, Scale Models, Sculpey, Sculpture, Scrapbooking, Seasonal Crafts, Sewing, Shabby Chic, Silk Florals, Snowmen, Stamping, Stationary Design, Soap Making, Spinning, Stenciling, Stitchery, Stones, Teddy Bears, Textile Art, Tole Painting, TyeDying, Victorian Crafts, Videography, Wallpaper, Watercolors, Wearable Art, Weaving, Wedding Crafts, Wire Art, Wood Crafts, Woodland Crafts, Woodworking, Wreaths, Writing, Yard Crafts.

Also, if you have written a FREE article pertaining to resources for crafters, creating craft projects, craft instructions, wholesale crafts, craft books, craft magazines, craft promotion, craft business information, crafters, crafting, craft shows, craft software, craft supplies, or craft directories we'd love to post your FREE article, too.

Articles must be family-friendly and original copyrighted material and can include the author's byline and web address at the bottom of the article, only. Articles will be posted in their full entirety without any changes, including the author's byline and link.

DISCLAIMER: Linda Walsh and Linda Walsh Originals does not warrant and assume any legal responsibility or liability for the reprint use of any of the FREE articles in this blog. We do not warrant or assume any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any of the information or products represented on this blog and do not endorse or recommend anything. The views of the authors of the FREE articles are theirs and theirs alone. The FREE articles are being provided on this blog for information purposes only. Listing of a article on this website does not imply endorsement of the website, business, product, links or integrity of the web page to which the article leads. If you encounter a link on one of the articles that is objectionable and not family-friendly please notify me as soon as possible so that we can remove the article from this page.

I have many, many ideas of things that I'd like to add to my "I Love Crafts and Craft Blogs" and my new "The Best FREE Craft Articles" blog.

However, fair is fair. Equal attention does have to be paid to all parts of my business. And the rest of my business deserves their time. Especially the dolls. They have been quiet long enough and I'm starting to hear a low but strong "rumble" coming out of "The Dollie Storage Room." YIKES! That would not be good.

If I could just "clone" myself I'd have more time. That way everyone would get their fair share of attention.

Hmmm..... "Clone" myself. Might work. Hmmmm....

Nah! Even I don't believe I'd do that! Or, would I?
